Abigail Hart

Abby is an Associate in Turner Padget’s Columbia office. She specializes in defending complex cases in the fields of product liability, insurance coverage, bad faith, and personal injury.

Through her defense of product manufacturers, insurance carriers, and individuals, Abby conducts depositions, mediations, hearings, and examinations under oath. Her experience allows her to properly advise clients throughout the claims and litigation processes.

Abby strives to provide clients with effective representation, as well as excellent service. She believes effective representation begins with listening to the client’s objectives and concerns with transparent and honest communication. With these understandings, she develops practical strategies to achieve the best results for her clients.

Prior to joining Turner Padget, Abby worked in subrogation as an Insurance Coverage Investigator where she confirmed policy coverage and contacted responsible parties to make recoveries for insurance carriers. Abby also served as clerk for the South Carolina House of Representatives Labor, Commerce and Industry Committee. Her previous experiences provide her with a unique perspective on insurance claims, coverage, and policy that she is able to utilize in defending, advising, and counseling her clients.
