Turner Padget Graham & Laney, P.A. announces that Columbia-based Robyn W. Madden and Jennifer N. Stone, and Greenville-based Taylor S. Speer have been elected shareholders of the firm. Madden is a member of the firm’s Professional Liability Practice, Stone is a member of the firm’s Business Transactions Practice, and Speer is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation Practice.

Madden currently represents individuals in professional license defense matters pending before the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation. She defends individuals accused of wrongdoing under their practice act from investigation through final hearing. Madden routinely appears before the various boards including the South Carolina Board of Nursing and the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners.
Stone counsels businesses of all sizes on a range of transactional matters, from multi-million dollar commercial acquisitions to contractual disputes. She is experienced with real estate and construction financing, asset-based lending and complex real estate mortgage investment conduit loans intended for securitization. Stone has represented businesses in formation and restructuring, including conversion to bankruptcy remote, special purpose entities.
Speer prosecutes business fraud cases, representing small businesses seeking private equity and large businesses targeted for their size. He has defended employers from harassment, retaliation, discrimination and wage and hour claims and other businesses alleged to have violated consumer protection and handicap accessibility laws.
