In an article published on July 17, 2015, SCNow reported that Catherine Kennedy received the South Carolina Bar’s Robert P. Wilkins Probate and Estate Award. Because of her vast experience with probate and trust matters, Kennedy was nominated by her peers. The nomination and the award itself show Kennedy’s leadership in the area – a recipient must be in good standing with the South Carolina Bar, have spent at least 5 of the past 10 years practicing or teaching in Probate and Estate matters, and must be a member of the South Carolina Bar’s Probate, Estate Planning and Trust Section.
