Turner Padget announces that Charleston-based attorney Kristen N. Nichols was appointed as the 2016 president of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Charleston. Nichols will lead CREW in the mission of advancing the achievements of local women in commercial real estate. Charleston CREW is one of the newest chapters in the national organization, and it includes members from all aspects of commercial real estate, including brokers, bankers, developers, architects and engineers, among other notable professions.
Nichols is a member of Turner Padget’s Real Estate and Lending Transactions, Business and Commercial Litigation, and Alternative Dispute Resolution practices. Combining her litigation and transactional experience, she regularly represents local and regional banks, lenders, investors and small businesses. She is a frequent speaker on topics related to her practice in both professional continuing education and classroom settings.
Nichols earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina and her law degree from Michigan State University.
