Adrian Peguese Carter, named the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division's Young Lawyer of the Year (2024), is a skilled attorney licensed in both South Carolina and North Carolina. She focuses her practice on litigation, personal injury law, and providing strategic legal counsel tailored to meet her clients’ needs.
A Florence native, Adrian began her career advocating for underserved communities in South Carolina, where she developed her litigation skills and a deep commitment to justice. Her experience also includes representing individuals in automobile accident cases, ensuring fair outcomes and protecting her clients’ rights.
In addition to her legal practice, Adrian is an active leader in the legal community. She serves as the 12th Circuit Representative for the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division (YLD) and co-chairs the Diversity Committee. She is also a member of the Protecting Our Youth Committee, a coach for the Wilson High School Mock Trial Team, and a board member of the Pamplico Development and Resources Center.
Adrian is professionally affiliated with the Florence County Bar and the American Bar Association, contributing to the Tort, Trial, and Insurance Practice Division, the Young Lawyers Division, and the Law Practice Division.
