Mary Stewart DeLong

Mary Stewart DeLong is an associate in Turner Padget’s Charleston office and a valued member of the firm’s Workplace Law Group. She represents employers and management in a range of employment law matters, including litigation, administrative proceedings, and day-to-day counseling. In addition to her employment law work, Mary Stewart also maintains a general civil litigation practice and advises employers and insurance carriers throughout South Carolina on workers’ compensation claims, offering strategic guidance through every stage of defense and resolution.

Before joining as an associate, Mary Stewart spent two summers as a law clerk with Turner Padget and also worked with a South Carolina workers’ compensation law firm.

During law school at the University of South Carolina, Mary Stewart served as the associate managing editor of The South Carolina Law Review and chaired the Honor Council.
