Melody is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law. She counsels clients with comprehensive estate planning services, including creating wills, powers of attorney, healthcare powers of attorney, and revocable and irrevocable trusts. She also handles complex matters such as special needs trusts, conservatorships, guardianships, and business succession planning. Melody is also a Certified Circuit Court Mediator.
Melody chairs the Horry County Probate Court Advisory Committee. She is a member of the prestigious American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, a national organization recognizing exceptional experience in trust and estate matters. She is the former chair of the South Carolina Estate Planning and Probate Law Specialization Advisory Board. She also served on the South Carolina Bar’s Probate Estate and Trust Council.
